There are 3 different options of accommodation to choose from:

1. Standard rooms:
The 4 en-suite standard rooms, next to each other,at first were used as sheepkrale and then as workers quarters until 1930. Your choice of these rooms full of rustic charm is twin or double beds.

One of them has an open plan bathroom. There are three more standard double en-suite rooms in the old office and work rooms.

2. Larger Rooms:
These three Large en-suite rooms originally have been the Enjin & Chicken room, the Coal room and the Shed. You can decide if you would like them to have twin or king beds.

Some have sleeper couches for small children. Through the double doors you look out on the Lucerne fields where the sheep graze.

3. Our self-contained comfortable cottage:
With its thick, uneven walls the cottage provides charming accommodation for up to six people but with no concession to comfort. There is one double en-suite bedroom, one with two single beds and a sleeper couch for the children.

You are assured of privacy and a personal relationship with the Karoo. The kitchen has a stove, microwave and fridge with all the utensils you will need to self cater.

Meals are available if you choose not to self-cater. Hester will deliver a full breakfast and supper.
