“Always a pleasure with Hester & JP” March & May 2013

We have been coming to Ganora Guest Farm for the past 8 years and have watched how Hester's nurturing of the accommodation and JP's oversight has made this part of the Karoo a home away from home. Most of our extended times on the farm are self-catered, with excellent and upgraded facilities. On several occasions, we've decided to ask that our evening meals be prepared, allowing us more time for work during the longer summer days. The quality of food, and the shear quantity and variety of dishes, make for memorable evenings. The kitchen crew prepare traditional Karoo fare with care, and accommodate vegetarians with ease. Providing for this latter dietary requirement isn't easy in this part of South Africa; yet, Max is adept as preparing great alternative fare each evening. There's no repetition to his repertoire.

Improvements on the property over the years have made this efficiently run Bed-and-Breakfast even more like a well oiled machine. A walk-in fridge now provides for storage of fresh vegetables and meat products, a new "saltwater" pool is the alternative to a swim in the dammed pond or metal tank, and the upgrades to interior furnishings and the self-catering kitchens provide for just about anything one could want for a get away near Nieu Bethesda.
